Hiking

I had more pictures from a recent hiking trip... and here they are.

The landing area on Gasparee island. I thought that you could use the steps to get out of the boat. Apparently you just climb out.

One of several houses and buildings on the island. they use a lot of tanks to store water too.

Stalagmites. This one was about 40 years old and would take about a hundred years to begin to look like a stalagmite.

One of the Bocas that ships pass through.

Cleaning up the beach. The beach we landed on had garbage left by other campers. There were ten bags of garbage after the clean up. the group enjoyed it there though, especially the children in spite of the rain.

One of the Coast Guards' boats.

People fishing in Chaguraramas.

One of the buildings in Chaguaramas. The flat roof was designed to for helicopeters to land there, or so I was told.
