Carnival Monday in Trinidad is not very structured and not many masqueraders wear full costumes. They may wear some T-shirts and shorts or just wear part of the costume.
However there were some interesting individual costumes like this one .
Parents and teachers also tend to be nearby to ensure that the children have something to drink and are fine to parade through the streets. 
In some cases some children just get carried or are pulled along. Others are lifted or go the rest of the way in strollers.
